# Zoom permissions, data and troubleshooting

## What is requested

Permission to create and manage meetings on the connected account. The connector reads no recordings, no transcripts, no chat and no contacts, and it does not list your existing meetings.
## What is stored

- Encrypted Zoom access and refresh tokens on the connection.
- For a trigger, the signing secret you pasted, encrypted.
- The inputs and outputs of each step in the workflow's run history, so you can see what a run did. That includes meeting IDs and join URLs.

## Disconnecting

Remove the connection from **Orchestration → Connections**. Workflow steps using it will fail from that point — they are not deleted, so reconnecting makes them work again. Meetings already created stay on your Zoom account. You can also revoke TotalCtrl from **zoom.us → Settings → Installed Apps**.
## Troubleshooting

**Zoom is not in the connection list.** Your administrator has not added Orchestration's Zoom credentials. These are separate from the Meeting Calendar ones, so having Zoom working in Meeting Calendar does not mean this is configured.

**The Add Registrant step fails.** Registration is probably not switched on for that meeting in Zoom, or the Meeting ID mapped in is empty because the step before it did not run.

**Zoom will not validate the endpoint URL.** The Secret Token is missing or does not match. Copy it again from the Zoom app's Feature page — it is the Secret Token, not the client secret.

**The workflow never runs when the event happens.** Check the event type is actually subscribed in Zoom, that the workflow is active, and that the URL in Zoom is the one shown on the trigger.

**A step stopped working suddenly.** The Zoom app was probably revoked or the account's password changed. Reconnect from the Connections page.
