# Connect Zoom to Orchestration

## What this connector is for

Orchestration's Zoom connector lets a workflow **create a Zoom meeting** and **register somebody for one**, and lets a Zoom event **start a workflow**. A typical use: a deal reaches a stage in the CRM, the workflow creates a Zoom meeting and writes the join link back onto the record.
## This is a different connection from Meeting Calendar

Meeting Calendar also connects to Zoom, and the two are deliberately separate: separate credentials, separate authorization, separate permissions. Connecting one does not connect the other, and disconnecting one does not affect the other.

They exist separately because they do different jobs. Meeting Calendar attaches a meeting to a booking and looks after it for the life of that booking. Orchestration creates meetings as a step in whatever workflow you have built, and does not manage them afterwards.
## Connect it

- Open **Orchestration → Connections**.
- Select **Add connection** and choose **Zoom**.
- Sign in to Zoom and approve the permissions.
- You are returned to Orchestration with the connection listed and ready to use in a workflow step.

If Zoom is not offered, your administrator has not added Zoom credentials for Orchestration yet — they are held separately from the Meeting Calendar ones, under **SuperAdmin → OAuth Providers → Orchestration Connectors**.
## Tokens

Your Zoom access and refresh tokens are encrypted before they are stored. The access token is refreshed automatically; you should not need to reconnect unless you revoke the app in Zoom or change your Zoom password.
