# Zoom actions in a workflow

**Category:** [Zoom for Orchestration](https://help.totalctrl.app/hc/totalctrl/totalctrl-help-center/en-US/categories/zoom-orchestration)
**Updated:** 2026-10-04

## Create Meeting

Schedules a new meeting on the connected Zoom account.

**Fields**

- **Topic** — the meeting title. Required.
- **Start Time** — ISO 8601, for example `2026-09-01T15:00:00Z`. Required.
- **Duration** — minutes. Optional.
- **Meeting Password** — optional.

**What the step returns**, for use in later steps: **Meeting ID**, **Join URL** (send this to attendees) and **Host URL** (this one starts the meeting as host — treat it as a secret and never put it in an attendee email).
## Add Meeting Registrant

Registers a person for a meeting that already exists.

**Fields**: **Meeting ID**, **Email**, **First Name**, and optionally **Last Name**. It returns a **Registrant ID** and a **Join URL** that is unique to that person.

The meeting must have registration switched on in Zoom, otherwise Zoom refuses the registrant and the step fails.
## Chaining the two

Put Create Meeting first and map its **Meeting ID** output into the **Meeting ID** field of the Add Meeting Registrant step. Add a registrant step per attendee, or put it inside a loop over a list of people.
## What the connector does not do

There is no update or delete action. A meeting created by a workflow stays on the Zoom account until somebody removes it there. If you need a meeting that follows a booking — moved when it is rescheduled, deleted when it is cancelled — that is Meeting Calendar's Zoom integration, not this one.
