# What TotalCtrl asks for and what it stores

**Category:** [Zoom for Meeting Calendar](https://help.totalctrl.app/hc/totalctrl/totalctrl-help-center/en-US/categories/zoom-meeting-calendar)
**Updated:** 2026-10-04

## Permissions requested

Four, one for each thing the integration does:

- **View a user** — read your Zoom account's email address once, so the settings page can show which account is connected.
- **Create a meeting** — make the meeting for a booking.
- **Update a meeting** — move it when a booking is rescheduled, so the join link survives.
- **Delete a meeting** — remove it when a booking is cancelled.

TotalCtrl never reads your existing Zoom meetings, your recordings, your transcripts, your chat or your contacts. It cannot see meetings it did not create.
## What is stored

- Your Zoom access and refresh tokens, encrypted before they are written to the database.
- The connected account's email address and display name, to label the connection.
- For each booking, the meeting's join link and its Zoom meeting ID. The ID is what lets a cancellation delete the right meeting.

## Disconnecting

Open **Meeting Calendar → Settings** and select **Disconnect** beside Zoom. The stored tokens are removed. You can also revoke TotalCtrl from **zoom.us → Settings → Installed Apps**.

Meetings already created for existing bookings stay on your Zoom account after you disconnect, because TotalCtrl no longer has permission to remove them. Cancel those bookings before disconnecting if you want the meetings cleared.
