# What happens when a booking is made, moved or cancelled

## Booked

TotalCtrl creates a Zoom meeting on your account at the booked time and puts the join link in the confirmation email and the calendar invitation.
## Rescheduled

The existing meeting is **moved** to the new time. The join link does not change, so an invitee who already has the link in an email can still use it. Your calendar entry moves with it.
## Cancelled

The meeting is **deleted** from your Zoom account, whether you cancel from your bookings list or the invitee cancels from the link in their email. The old join link stops working, which is the point: a cancelled meeting should not leave a room somebody can still walk into.
## If Zoom cannot be reached

The booking change always takes effect in TotalCtrl first. If Zoom is unreachable at that moment, the booking is still cancelled or moved and the Zoom meeting may be left behind. You can delete it from your Zoom account directly; nothing in TotalCtrl will recreate it.
