# Welcome to TotalCtrl

## What is TotalCtrl?

TotalCtrl is an all-in-one business platform that brings your team's most important tools — projects, CRM, surveys, wiki, newsletters, community, file management, and more — under a single roof. Instead of juggling a dozen disconnected SaaS subscriptions, your whole organisation works in one place with a shared contact base, unified notifications, and deep cross-app integrations.

## Key concepts

  
- **Organisation (Tenant):** Your company's private workspace. All data, users, and apps belong to your organisation.
  
- **Apps:** Individual modules (Projects, CRM, Surveys, Wiki, etc.) that you activate for your team. Each app is purpose-built but shares data with the rest of the platform.
  
- **Users & Roles:** Invite team members as admins or regular users. Individual apps have their own granular role systems on top of this.
  
- **Sub-app access:** Admins can control which team members have access to which apps.

## Finding your way around

The left-hand sidebar lists every app available to you. Click any app to jump straight in. The top navigation bar gives you quick access to notifications, your profile, and global search.

## Next steps

  
- Complete your **organisation profile** — add your company name, logo, and timezone in *Settings → Organisation*.
  
- **Invite your team** — go to *Settings → Team Members* and send email invitations.
  
- Activate the apps your team needs and start creating.
