# Visibility: private vs. organization

Every chart has a visibility setting you control.

- **Visible to me** — only you can see it. Ideal for draft plans and what-ifs.
- **Visible to the organization** — anyone in your workspace with the Org Charts app can view it.

Set it when you create a chart, or change it later from the chart's *Settings*.
## Note on embeds

A secure embed link works regardless of visibility — the unguessable link itself is the access key. So you can keep a chart private internally while still embedding a public view of it.
