# Use sources and connectors

## Ground content in your own data

In step 3 of the creation wizard you can add **sources** so the AI writes from real information instead of guessing. This is what powers the data-driven types like **Analytics Summary**, **Support Digest**, and **CRM Narrative**.
## Internal sources

Because TotalCtrl apps share data, Creator can draw on content already in your account — for example CRM records, support activity, analytics, and wiki content — to inform the draft.
## Connected services

Creator also lists any **connectors** you have configured and marked as connected, such as Contentful, Webflow, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, and Box. Only connectors in a `connected` state appear as options.
## Set up a connector

Connectors are managed in your account's integrations settings. Once a connector shows as connected, it becomes available both as a content source here and as an export destination — see [Publish and export content](publish-and-export-content).
## Tips

- The more specific your brief, the better Creator combines it with your sources.
- If a connector you expect isn't listed, confirm it is fully connected in settings, then reopen the wizard.
