# Upload and organize assets

## Uploading files

Open **Upload** from the Digital Assets sidebar. You can select multiple files at once. For the batch you can set:

- **Folder** — where the files land (leave blank for the root).
- **Permission** — `Private`, `Restricted`, or `Public` (see [Control asset access and share links](control-asset-access-and-share-links)).
- **Content type** — a free-text label such as "Logo" or "Product shot."
- **Tags** — comma-separated keywords that become searchable.

Each file may be up to **200 MB**. If a file is too large or your plan's asset limit is reached, that file is skipped and you'll see a message. The original filename is preserved for downloads, but the stored file is given a private internal name.
## Working with folders

Create a folder from the dashboard, give it a name and a color, and optionally nest it under a parent. You can rename or recolor a folder later. A folder can only be deleted once it is empty of both assets and subfolders.
## Finding and moving assets

On the **Browse** page, search by title, description, or filename, and narrow results with the type, permission, and language filters. Select multiple assets to **bulk move** them into an existing or brand-new folder, or to **bulk delete** them. You can also move a single asset from its detail page.
