# Track opens, clicks, and deliverability

## The analytics dashboard

Open **Analytics** from your newsletter to see every sent edition with its engagement metrics, plus a subscriber growth chart over time.
## What's measured per edition

- **Delivered** — messages accepted by the recipient's mail server.
- **Opened** — unique opens, tracked automatically via an embedded pixel.
- **Clicked** — unique link clicks, with click tracking enabled on all links.
- **Failed / bounced** — messages that could not be delivered, split into soft and hard bounces.
- **Complained** — recipients who marked the email as spam.
- **Unsubscribed** — recipients who opted out from this edition.

## How tracking works

Delivery events stream back from the email provider in near real time and update both the per-recipient send log and the edition totals. There's nothing to configure — tracking is on by default for every send.
## Automatic list hygiene

The system protects your sender reputation for you: hard bounces and spam complaints automatically move the subscriber out of `active` and onto the suppression list, so they're excluded from future sends. Soft bounces are recorded without suppressing the address.
## Web archive

Sent editions you publish to the web get a public archive page, giving subscribers a shareable link to read past issues in their browser. See [Grow and manage your subscribers](grow-and-manage-your-subscribers) for how engagement ties back to your list.
