# Quality warnings (CPS, characters per line, timing)

## Live QA as you type

Every cue is checked against the project's standard in real time. You'll see a per-cue readout (reading speed in CPS, characters per line, duration) and inline badges:

- **⛔ Errors** — must fix: a line over the character limit, reading speed over the hard max, a cue too short/long, an overlap, or an empty cue.
- **⚠ Warnings** — should review: reading speed over the target, small gaps, ALL-CAPS, line-end hyphenation, trailing spaces.

A summary bar shows total errors and warnings. Per-line counts turn red over the limit. If you try to export a track with errors, you'll be asked to confirm.
