# Invite an outside collaborator

## Sending the invitation

On **Members → Add people**, type the person's email address, choose their access level and — for Reviewer or Read only — the projects they should see. They are emailed a link to your guest portal.

Pending invitations are listed underneath, with the date each was sent and a control to revoke one.
## What they get

They set a password, and land in Video Hub with only the projects you named. They never see the workspace dashboard, the app catalog, or anything else in your workspace.
## If they already have a TotalCtrl account

Plenty of people do — a contractor with their own workspace, or a colleague at a client. Accepting the invitation adds them to your workspace as a guest and leaves their own workspace untouched; they can switch between the two.

Somebody who is *already* a member of your workspace keeps exactly the access they have. An old invitation cannot demote a colleague to a guest or cut them down to the projects it happened to name.
## Revoking

Use **Remove** on the Members page. It clears their app access and their project scoping together — leaving one behind is how a revoked collaborator keeps a way in.
