# Sign in with a passkey

**Category:** [Account Security & Sign-in](https://help.totalctrl.app/hc/totalctrl/totalctrl-help-center/en-US/categories/account-security)
**Updated:** 2026-08-19

## Sign in with a passkey

- On the sign-in page, click **Sign in with a passkey**. (The button appears only if your browser supports passkeys.)
- Choose your account if prompted, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or your security key.
- You are signed straight in — no password or code needed.

### If you do not see the button

The passkey button is hidden when your browser does not support passkeys, or when you are on a device that has no passkey for TotalCtrl. Sign in with your password (and your authenticator or email code) instead, then add a passkey from your profile for next time.
