# Set up your brand voice

## Why brand voice matters

A **brand voice** tells Creator how your organization should sound, so every draft starts on-brand instead of generic. You configure one brand voice per account and it is applied automatically when content is generated.
## Configure it

Open **Brand Voice** from the Creator menu and fill in the fields you care about:

- **Name** — a label for this voice.
- **Tone** — the default tone (Professional, Friendly, Inspirational, and so on).
- **Style notes** — guidance on sentence length, formatting habits, point of view, and personality.
- **Vocabulary — do** — words and phrases to favor.
- **Vocabulary — don't** — words and phrases to avoid.
- **Example copy** — a sample of writing that captures your voice; the AI uses it as a reference.

## Save and reuse

Click **Save**. From then on, the brand voice is layered into every generation. You can still override the **tone** per asset in the creation wizard when a specific piece needs a different feel.

It's worth filling in the **Vocabulary don't** and **Example copy** fields — they have the biggest effect on keeping the AI consistent with how you actually write.
