# Running Email Campaigns

## Before you send

Campaigns are sent to a **Contact List**. Make sure you have at least one list with active contacts before creating a campaign.

## Creating a campaign

  
- Go to **CRM → Marketing → Campaigns → New campaign**.
  
- Enter a campaign name, subject line, and optional preview text.
  
- Set the From name and From email address.
  
- Choose the **contact list** to send to.
  
- Compose the email body. Use `{{first_name}}` and `{{email}}` for personalisation.
  
- Save as draft or send immediately.

## AI campaign copy

Click **Generate with AI** inside the campaign editor. Describe your audience, goal, tone, and key points — TotalCtrl produces a full subject line, preview text, and email body.

## Campaign analytics

After sending, click a campaign to see real-time delivery stats: sent, delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, and unsubscribed.

## Lead-capture forms

Create embedded forms under **CRM → Marketing → Forms**. Each form gets a unique public URL and an embed code. Submissions automatically create or update CRM contacts.
