# Reading the Analytics page

## Where to find it

**Product Adoption → Analytics**. Everything on it — the funnel, most-used features and where people go — is the same data the API and the assistant read, so the page and an API call cannot disagree.
## The funnel

Pick two or three steps in order. The list offers the events your site actually sends rather than a text box, because a typed name with a typo in it is a funnel that silently reports nothing.

Each step shows how many **people** reached it, the rate from the previous step and the rate from the start. A rate shows as a dash rather than 0% when nobody was eligible for that step — "nobody converted" and "nobody got here" are different findings.
## Three things the page can be telling you

An empty-looking page means one of three things and it says which:

- **Product analytics is off.** Nothing is being recorded. Two steps fix it — see the setup article.
- **No events yet.** It is on and waiting on traffic. If your site has visitors, check the snippet carries the capture attribute and your domain is on the allowed-origins list.
- **No events in the last 30 days.** Events have arrived before, so the snippet works — this site has simply been quiet. The counts cover the last 30 days; the history is still there.

The third is the one worth knowing about. Without it, a site that has gone quiet shows a row of zeros that reads like a product nobody uses.
## Where people go

Page-to-page movement, rebuilt once a day, so it fills in after the first overnight run. An empty *from* is where a visit started and an empty *to* is where it ended — both are real answers rather than missing data.
