## What is Orchestration?

Orchestration is TotalCtrl's workflow automation builder. Connect a trigger to a sequence of actions across TotalCtrl apps and external services — without writing code.

## Key concepts

  
- **Workflow:** A trigger plus one or more action steps.
  
- **Trigger:** The event that starts a workflow (e.g. new CRM contact, survey response, inbound webhook).
  
- **Action:** A step that does something (e.g. create a task, send a Slack message, add a contact to a list).
