# Your Notifications Center

**Category:** [Notifications Center](https://help.totalctrl.app/hc/totalctrl/totalctrl-help-center/en-US/categories/notifications-center)
**Updated:** 2026-10-04

## What it is

The **Notifications Center** is the bell icon in the top bar of every page in your workspace. It's where TotalCtrl tells you two kinds of things: when work you started in the background has *finished* (a video finished dubbing, an SDK build is ready, a voice note is transcribed), and when your workspace *needs attention* (you're approaching a plan limit, a connected integration stopped syncing).
## Where to find it

Look for the **bell** near the top-right of any page, next to the Help and theme buttons. When you have unread notifications, a small red number appears on the bell showing how many.
## Opening the tray

Click the bell to open your notification tray. Each item shows an icon, a short summary, when it happened, and — where it makes sense — a button to jump straight to whatever it's about (**Open**, **Download**, **Review**, and so on). From the tray you can also **Mark all read**, open **preferences** (the gear icon), or choose **See all notifications** for the full list.
## It's personal to you

Your notifications are **yours alone** — nobody else in the workspace sees them. When you kick off a task, the "it's ready" notification comes to *you*, the person who started it. A few workspace-wide alerts (like approaching a plan limit) go to workspace admins, because they're the people who can act on them.
