# Meeting Calendar overview

## What Meeting Calendar does

Meeting Calendar lets you share a booking link so other people can pick a time and schedule a meeting with you. You define the kinds of meetings you offer, set when you're available, and the app shows invitees only the open slots that fit your rules. When someone books, the meeting lands in your **Bookings** list and everyone gets confirmation by email.

Your Calendar data is personal to you. Event types, availability, and bookings are tied to your own account, not shared across your whole team.
## The main pieces

- **Event Types** — the meetings you offer (for example "30-minute intro call"). Each one has its own public booking link. See [Create an event type](create-an-event-type).
- **Availability** — weekly schedules that decide which hours invitees can choose from. See [Set your availability](set-your-availability).
- **Bookings** — everything people have scheduled, split into Upcoming, Past, and Cancelled. See [Manage and cancel bookings](manage-and-cancel-bookings).

## Getting started

The Calendar dashboard shows your active event types, meetings booked for the next seven days, and your connected calendars at a glance. A typical first-time setup is: set your availability, create an event type, then share its booking link.
