# Managing Your Notifications

## How notifications work

TotalCtrl sends notifications when things happen that are relevant to you — a task is assigned, a survey response arrives, a support ticket is updated. Notifications arrive in-app (the bell icon) and optionally by email.

## Notification preferences

Go to **Profile → Notifications** to configure preferences per notification type: Instant, Daily digest, Weekly digest, Monthly digest, or Off.

## In-app notifications

Click the **bell icon** in the top navigation to see all recent notifications. Mark all as read with the **Mark all read** button.
