# Syncing and pulling translations

## Where to configure it

Open your Help Center's **Settings** and find the **String Manager Sync** card.
### Step by step

- Add the **secondary languages** you want to translate into (in the Languages section).
- Turn on **Sync this Help Center to String Manager** and Save.
- Click **Sync now** to push your published articles and categories into the linked string set. The card shows the linked set and the last-synced time.
- Translate the strings in String Manager.
- Back here, click **Pull translations** to bring the completed work into your secondary languages.

### Good to know

- Only **published** articles and categories are synced.
- Both actions are safe to run repeatedly — they update in place and keep version history.
- Pulled translations land as **drafts**; review and publish them per language when you're ready.
- Each sync and pull is recorded in the **Audit Log**, and a sync fires the `helpcenter.strings.synced` webhook and the *Help Center Synced to String Manager* Orchestration trigger.
