# Export your directory org chart here

If you use the Employee Directory, you can turn its live org chart into an editable Org Chart in a click.
## How

- In the Employee Directory, open the *Org Chart*.
- Choose *Export → Export to Org Charts* and name the new chart.
- You'll land in the Org Charts builder with a copy of your current structure, ready to rearrange.

## Why

This lets you plan a re-org or model changes freely — dragging people around, adding planned hires — without affecting the real reporting lines in your directory.
