# Insert links to your other apps in a template

## Link to your public pages from a message

When you edit an Engage template, the toolbar has a **Link** button that inserts a link to another TotalCtrl app's public, no-login page — so you can point recipients straight at a survey, a feature-request board, a course, or a help article without copying URLs by hand.
### How to use it

- Open a template (email, SMS, or push) and click **Link** in the editor toolbar.
- Choose an **App**. You'll only see apps you have access to: **Surveys**, **Product Requests**, **Academy courses**, and **Help Center**.
- Pick the specific **Page** — for example a published survey, a live request board, a public course, or a published help article.
- Edit the **Link text** if you want, then click **Insert link**.

### What gets inserted

In an email template the link is inserted as clickable link text. In SMS and push templates, which are plain text, the full URL is inserted at your cursor. Every link points at the live public page, so it keeps working for recipients who aren't signed in.
### What shows up in the list

Only published, public content appears: active surveys, published (non-private) request boards, published public Academy courses, and published Help Center articles. If an app's list is empty, publish or make the item public first.
