# Manage contacts and companies

Add a contact from the Contacts tab, or import a list. Each contact can be linked to a company, and companies roll up the people and deals associated with them.
## The unified directory

CRM contacts are part of the workspace-wide **Contacts** directory, so the same person is recognized across Accounting, Support, Surveys, and more — no duplicates to reconcile.
