# Locked Creator templates

## Protect your on-brand layouts

A block template can be marked **Locked** so people can fill in its text and images but can't alter its structure or styling — keeping every output on-brand.
## Using a locked template

- When editing a block template, turn on **Locked** and save.
- From the templates list, choose **Fill** on a locked template.
- You'll get a simple form of just the editable text and image fields — the layout is fixed.
- Fill it in and save; Creator produces a new asset from the template, ready to edit or export.

Unlocked templates continue to be fully editable as before.
