# Create a survey

## Three ways to start

From the Surveys list, click **Create**. You can build a survey from scratch, start from a built-in template, or let AI generate one for you.
## From scratch

Enter a **title** (required) and an optional description, then save. You'll land in the **Builder**, where you add questions one at a time.
## From a template

Pick from ready-made templates such as **Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)**, **Net Promoter Score (NPS)**, **Employee Engagement**, **Event Feedback**, **Course / Training Evaluation**, and **Website / App Feedback**. The template's questions are copied in so you can customize them.
## With AI

Describe what you want to learn (for example, "feedback after a software onboarding call") and the AI generates a complete survey with a sensible mix of question types. Review and edit the result before publishing.
## Adding and editing questions

In the Builder, add a question, choose its type, write the question text, and mark it **required** if needed. Choice questions get options you can edit; rating and NPS questions use a numeric scale. Drag to reorder questions, and delete any you don't need.
