# Connect GitHub, GitLab, and Slack

**Category:** [Issue Tracker](https://help.totalctrl.app/hc/totalctrl/totalctrl-help-center/en-US/categories/issues)
**Updated:** 2026-08-19

## Open the integrations hub

From Issue Tracking, open **Integrations** to see the available connections: **GitHub**, **GitLab**, and **Slack**. Each connection is configured once per account and can then be used across your projects.
## GitHub and GitLab

Connecting GitHub or GitLab lets you tie issues to your source code. Once a connection is active, the issue detail page shows a **development panel** linking the issue to related commits and pull or merge requests, so you can see code activity alongside the work item.
## Slack

The Slack connection lets Issue Tracking push activity into your channels, keeping the team informed without leaving chat.
## Cross-app connections

Issue Tracking also works with the rest of your TotalCtrl suite. If an issue is linked to a **Support** ticket, closing the issue (moving it to a terminal status) automatically resolves the linked ticket. And when a project has **Time Tracking** enabled and linked to a billing project, time logged on issues flows into your time records. See [Create and manage issues](create-and-manage-issues) for how to log time on an individual issue.
