# The completed document and Certificate of Completion

When all signers have signed, the document is finalized automatically:

- Each signature, date, and text value is rendered onto the original PDF at the exact field positions.
- A **Certificate of Completion** page is appended, listing every signer and the full audit trail (who, when, and from which IP address).
- A **SHA-256 hash** of the final document is recorded. Because any change to the file would change its hash, this proves the signed document has not been altered.

Download the completed PDF from the envelope's detail page. CC recipients and the sender are notified automatically.
