# Community events you can subscribe to

## Webhooks and Orchestration triggers

Add these under Settings → Webhooks, in the **Community** group, or use them as Orchestration triggers.
### Groups

- `community.group.created` and `community.group.updated`
- `community.group.member_added` and `community.group.member_removed`
- `community.group.join_requested` and `community.group.join_approved` — a decline does not fire an event; nobody automates on a “no”.

### Events

- `community.event.created`, `community.event.updated`, and `community.event.cancelled`
- `community.event.registered` and `community.event.registration_cancelled`
- `community.event.checked_in`

### Connections

- `community.connection.requested` and `community.connection.accepted`

## REST API

Server-to-server access mirrors the existing Community posts and members endpoints, and requires an API token with the `app:community` scope.

- `GET /api/v1/community/<community_id>/groups` and `POST /api/v1/community/<community_id>/groups`
- `POST /api/v1/community/<community_id>/groups/<group_id>/members` — add an existing member to a Group.
- `GET /api/v1/community/<community_id>/events` and `POST /api/v1/community/<community_id>/events`
- `POST /api/v1/community/<community_id>/events/<event_id>/registrations` — register a member; waitlisted automatically if the event is full.

Connections are deliberately not part of the REST API — they are a peer-to-peer feature initiated by a member, not something a server-to-server integration typically needs to drive. The webhooks and MCP tools above already cover reacting to them.
