# Community Overview

## What is Community?

Community is TotalCtrl's built-in community platform. Create a private or public space where your customers, users, or team can connect, share, and engage.

## Structure

  
- **Community:** The top-level brand. You can have multiple communities per organisation.
  
- **Space:** A channel or section (e.g. "General", "Events"). Space types: discussion, events, resources, chat, or announcements.
  
- **Post:** Content within a space. Post types: discussion, question, announcement, poll, and event.

## Privacy levels

  
- **Public:** Anyone can join without approval.
  
- **Private:** Members must request access or be invited.
  
- **Secret:** Only visible to existing members.
