# Build a tour

## Build a flow

- On **Platform Messaging**, choose a type and click **New flow**.
- In the builder, click **+** to add steps. For each step set:
**Type** (tooltip, modal, banner, hotspot).
- **CSS selector** — for anchored steps, the element to point at (e.g. `#signup-btn`). Prefer stable ids or `data-*` attributes over fragile positions.
- **Title**, **body** (HTML allowed), an optional **image**, and **buttons** (Next / Back / Dismiss / open a URL / fire an event).

- Use **Preview step** to see how it looks.
- Click **Save**, then **Publish** when you're ready for users to see it.

Reorder steps with the chevrons, and delete a step with the trash icon.
