# Build a dashboard and add panels

Dashboards are made of **panels**, each showing one metric as a KPI or chart.
## Create a dashboard

- Open the *Analytics* app and create a new dashboard (give it a name).
- Click **Add panel**.
- In the **Native Data** section, pick an app, then a metric — the picker lists every app you can access and its available metrics.
- Choose the chart type and save.

## Arrange & edit

Drag panels to reorder them, edit a panel to change its metric or title, and rename or delete the dashboard from its menu. Data is cached briefly for speed and refreshes automatically.
