# Building a Brand Kit (and extracting from a URL)

## Create and edit a kit

Go to **Standards → Brand Kit** and click **New Kit**. The editor has a live preview that updates as you change colors, type, logo, and buttons. Click **Save Brand Kit** when you're happy, and use the star action on the list to set a kit as the *default*.
### Extract from a website

To get a head start, paste any website URL into **Extract from a website**. We inspect the page and pull its brand color and font as a starting point — review, tweak, and save.
### Logo

Upload a PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, or WebP and it's stored in **Digital Assets** as a public asset, so it renders correctly inside emails. An uploaded file wins over a pasted URL. Add a light-on-dark version for dark backgrounds.
