# Importing a Confluence space into your Wiki

Bring an entire Confluence space into the TotalCtrl **Wiki** — pages, their nesting, and their images. Confluence is left untouched.
## Run an import

- Go to **Issue Tracking → Integrations → Jira** (the Atlassian page) and find **Confluence → Wiki**.
- Click **Import a Confluence space** and choose the space.
- Pick which wiki to import into, and whether to bring images across.
- Click **Start import**.

A new Wiki space is created, named after the Confluence space, so an import never mixes into your existing pages.
## What you get

- Every current page in the space, with its title and content
- **The page tree** — parent and child pages keep their structure
- Images, copied into TotalCtrl so they keep working even if Confluence access changes later
- Formatting: headings, lists, tables, quotes, code blocks, info/note/warning panels and expandable sections
- Full-text search and AI answers, because imported pages are indexed like any other Wiki page

## Good to know

- Imports run in the background — you can leave the page, and you'll be notified when they finish.
- Specialised Confluence macros (dynamic content, third-party add-ons) come through as plain content.
- Only current pages are imported — not archived pages, page history, or comments.
- Very large images are left as links to Confluence rather than copied.
- An import is a point-in-time copy, not a live sync. Re-import to refresh.
