# Saving a Wiki page to Confluence

**Category:** [Jira & Confluence](https://help.totalctrl.app/hc/totalctrl/totalctrl-help-center/en-US/categories/atlassian)
**Updated:** 2026-10-04

Publish a TotalCtrl Wiki page into Confluence — useful when a document is written in TotalCtrl but your wider organisation reads it in Confluence.
## Publish a page

- Open the Wiki page.
- Open the **…** menu and choose **Save to Confluence**.
- Pick the Confluence space and confirm.

You'll get a link straight to the new Confluence page.
## Keeping it up to date

TotalCtrl remembers where each page was published. Save the same page again and it **updates the existing Confluence page** (as a new version) instead of creating a duplicate — so you can edit in TotalCtrl and re-publish as often as you like.
## What's included

Your content and formatting, plus images: pictures stored in the page are uploaded to Confluence as attachments so they display properly, and images already hosted elsewhere are linked.
## Good to know

- Publishing is one-way. Edits made in Confluence are not pulled back, and will be overwritten the next time you publish that page from TotalCtrl.
- Pages are published to the top level of the space you choose.
- You need permission to add pages to that Confluence space.
