# Turn AI off for your workspace

## One switch, not thirty

Some organisations decide their content must not be sent to an AI provider — a procurement rule, a data-protection assessment, a regulator, or simply a policy. When that is the case you need one control you can point at, not a checklist of every AI feature you hope you found.

Go to **Settings → AI & LLM** and scroll to the bottom. **Turn AI off for this workspace** is the last section on the page.
### What happens when you turn it off

Immediately, and for everyone in the workspace, nothing is sent to any AI provider. No text, no documents, no images, no audio.

The switch takes effect at once. There is nothing to wait for and nothing to restart.
### Who can change it

Workspace admins only. Turning AI off affects everybody, so it is not a per-user preference.
### Turning it back on

The same section, whenever you like. AI features start working again immediately, and nothing you produced before is affected either way.
