# Meet the AI Assistant

## What it is

The **AI Assistant** is your workspace copilot. Unlike a plain chatbot, it can *do* the work: describe an outcome — "build a welcome drip for new customers", "add a launch page to my website", "send a note to my top customers" — and it plans the steps, creates the content, and hands you links to everything it made. Multi-step tasks that would normally take you through several apps happen from one request.
## Where to find it

Open **AI Assistant** from the left navigation on your Dashboard, or use the **Assistant** button in the top bar of any page. You can also still use the quick **Ask AI** pop-up (the search box or ⌘K) for fast questions — the full-page Assistant adds a history of everything it has done for you and the ability to review and publish what it creates.
## How a request flows

- **You ask.** Type what you want in plain language and press Enter.
- **It plans and writes.** The Assistant drafts the content itself — email copy, page sections, a post — using what it knows about your workspace.
- **You approve.** Before anything that changes your workspace, it shows an **Approve** card listing exactly what it's about to do. Nothing is created until you approve.
- **It creates drafts.** Each item becomes a card in the conversation with an **Open** link so you can review it.
- **You publish.** Happy with a draft? Click **Publish** (or **Send** / **Activate**) on its card. Not happy? **Discard** it, or ask the Assistant to change it.

## Your history

Every request is saved in the **History** rail on the left. Each entry shows its status — *Working*, *Needs review*, *Done* — and how many items it created. Click any past request to reopen it and see (or publish) what it made. Start a fresh request any time with **New**.

Only apps your workspace has are available to the Assistant, so it won't offer to create something you can't use.
