**Category:** [Account Security & Sign-in](https://help.totalctrl.app/hc/totalctrl/totalctrl-help-center/en-US/categories/account-security)
**Updated:** 2026-08-19

## Add a passkey

- Go to **Profile → Security → Passkeys**.
- Click **Add a passkey**.
- Follow your device prompt — for example, confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or your security key.
- The new passkey appears in your list with the date it was added.

### Managing passkeys

Each passkey you register is listed under **Profile → Security → Passkeys**. To remove one, click the trash icon next to it and confirm. Remove a passkey if you lose the device it was created on.
### Tips

- Register a passkey on each device you regularly use.
- If you use a phone passkey, you can often use it to sign in on a nearby computer by scanning a QR code — your browser walks you through it.
