# Visibility & privacy

## Academy privacy

In **Academy Settings**, choose a privacy level:

- **Public** — your academy is listed on a public page and anyone can browse published courses.
- **Private** — not publicly listed; only members can view.
- **Secret** — hidden and undiscoverable; invite-only.

### Per-course visibility

Each course also has its own visibility — **Public** (shown on the public academy) or **Members** (enrolled/invited learners only).
### Enrollment approval

Turn on **Require approval to enroll** to review every join request before granting access (see the Enrollment article).
