# Public academy & custom domain

## Your public academy

When privacy is **Public**, your published *public* courses appear on a branded academy page at `/academy/<slug>`. Set a friendly **Public URL (slug)** in Academy Settings.
## Custom domain

Serve the public academy on your own subdomain (e.g. `academy.yourcompany.com`):

- Enter your domain in **Academy Settings → Custom Domain** and save.
- Add the **CNAME** and **TXT** records shown to your DNS provider.
- Click **Verify DNS**. Once verified, your academy serves on that domain (SSL is provisioned automatically; DNS changes can take up to 48 hours).
